Chievo at PARMA - Unless the weather decides to intervene, these two will go at it like they always do, with plenty of shin tackling and yellow cards (no love lost between them). Parma's last two Serie A games have been defensive gems, holding opponents like Palermo to no goals. This is an obvious by-product of playing in X-mas tree formation (4-3-2-1). They are truly desperate for a win, and might just pull the trick here against a Chievo who has been horrible on the road (the only win, 2 weeks ago at Livorno). To do that they will have to do what they have not been able to do in the last four serie A games, "sigh"...score a goal. Expect Parma to be
in newly revised 3-4-3, with something to prove to themselves. It is difficult to believe, but both these teams should score a goal. And as such, the unconvetional plays:
PARMA over 2 -122 (4.5 units)
PARMA pk and -0.5 -113 (3 units)

Lazio at LIVORNO - Got to believe that beating Roma at home, should be worth something for Lazio's confidence. More impressive, is the scoring touch they have found in the last 5 games (15 goals). I expect the momentum to continue here. Even though this is Serie A, where anything is possible - especially at the 90th minute - I don't believe Lazio will be looking ahead to next week, when they will face Inter at l'Olimpico. The play:
Lazio pk +100 (3 units)

Palermo at AS ROMA - It's not as straightforward as you might think...Roma winning this game. This is Serie A, where out of no where these two end up in weird 1-1 draw. Hopefully not! Don't let the standings fool you, talent wise AS Roma is superior to Palermo at every position. The
one factor that will decide this game is defense, and not offense. True that both these two can pile it on, but only one can control the game defensively, especially at midfield...where Palermo will not be given the chance to run or counter attack. I should have place this one earlier this when I saw -0.5 +101...
The plays:
AS Roma -0.5 -110 (5.5 units)
(would have placed a few more units, but AC Milan stung me good at the 90th minute...)
AS Roma under 2.5 goals +103 (3 units)

MA says: nothing really stands out on this card. For those considering one
or two plays: Parma over 2 goals & Roma -0.5g

Cheers and good luck.

SERIE A & B Weekend: W4 L4 T3 (+6.81 UNITS) - What could have been a decent weekend, was erased by AC Milan at the 90th minute,
and the AS ROMA total at the 83rd...see you on Wednesday.

Luck to all,
